A forged casing head is a component used in the oil and gas industry as part of a wellhead assembly. The wellhead is a crucial component of an oil or gas well, serving as the surface connection point between the wellbore and the surface facilities. It provides control over the flow of fluids in and out of the well and houses various tools and equipment.   It is the adapter between the first casing string and either the BOP stack (during drilling) or the wellhead (after completion).
