Typically, a drum mower is used for hay cutting, not finish or brush mowing.   This is an old-fashioned lawn mower with low power consumption and no need for hydraulic devices. It is suitable for most tractors with moderate horsepower. The drum can be manually swung to the rear of the tractor for transport. Drum lawn mowers are the most rugged and durable types of lawn mowers, and they rarely sustain damage even if they hit an immovable object. So they are an excellent choice for pruning your unmanageable pasture.   One thing to note is that drum mowers do not spread the cut grass into wide strips, so additional turning is usually required to ensure proper drying.   The drum mower is equipped with 4 oval rotor plates for efficient mowing and favourable grass regrowth.
